30 Days: 17

I guess I owe a bit of an explanation. On November 18th, my great-aunt died unexpectedly, and I found out about it the day after, which kind of sapped my energy for extra creative pursuits. Then it was Thanksgiving break. And now, it's the end of the semester and EVERYTHING IS DUE and Ben and I have two weeks to find and move into an apartment. Basically, circumstances have conspired to get in the way of my 30 Days Project. I still intend to finish it, just not in the correct time frame. Thanks for being patient!

To start to make up for the delay, here's a drawing I made for/about/because of my great-aunt. She loved to garden. Who knows, maybe she still does. We miss you, Beverly.

  1. :( I'm so, so sorry to hear about your great-aunt! *HUGS*
The picture you've drawn is lovely - I'm sure she would/does appreciate it and how much you obviously care for her.

  2. Sara,
Such a beautiful sketch. I forwarded it on to your grandmother. I am sure she will find it a great comfort. She is gathering poems, drawings and anything that is a tribute to Beverly. You have the sweetest heart, love.
