My Senior Show: "Undone"

My senior art show is complete, printed, installed, the opening reception has passed, the oral exam is over with, and all this means I have successfully completed my major. The rest of the semester is just fluff, just filler. I feel so light and directionless all of a sudden. What do I do now? I can do anything!

Some of you may have already seen my installation; some have yet to see it; some, unfortunately, are geographically challenged and will never be able to see it. =( But despair not! What follows is a very thorough photographic tour.

Here's how my gallery started out looking.

...And here's how it ended up.

  1. Sara!

I can barely express how wonderful this exhibition is! I am so happy that you have created something that speaks to both your amazing skill as a story teller and your artistic talent -- it is honestly a seamless blend of these talents, and I just adore it! It's been such a journey to see you blossom as an artist, and I am so blown away by the style and process you have developed over the years.

I really wish I could come see this in person! Maybe someday we can actually pay a visit to each other (you know, what with the lack of school and all). I would love to see you again.

Oh, I don't know if I mentioned it, but I have finally gotten myself a blogspot, 4 years too late! :P I just posted my first entry, but this would be a great way to stay in touch and see what we're both up to.

And yes. I am a blonde. I never thought it would happen, but it certainly has been fun. But you know me, I'll probably change it to red or back to dark sooner or later. ;)

Hope to hear from you soon!

PS: You know, it's crazy... we're miles apart and we draw our clouds almost exactly the same way. I'll have to show you what I mean. It's amazing!
